Aw, that's disappointing. I mean BW were pretty crap and I'm not sure how much fixing BW2 did. But X&Y look absolutely top. <3

Eh, it's still like... end of school and vacation times. And all the activity is funnelling into XY, too.

I never watched the Mystery Dungeon eps. .3.

Just because it's aimed at kids doesn't mean it should suck though. Like good storytelling and good characters should be present in all media. And they've def stepped it down since DP. :|

Nah most of BW wasn't serious it was just bland with one-dimensional characterization. I swear Cilan is the only one keeping anyone even mildly entertained most of the time. Ash has completely stagnated and Iris was being treated okay by the writing team until they p much forgot she existed during the N arc. There's just so much potential in that show and the characters that they are no using and it makes me sad.

But yeah the TRio are coming back around to being their old selves. Hoping they'll continue to be a decent threat when they do get involved with Ash but also that they start becoming an actual part of the main Rocket organization. I mean why wouldn't Giovanni have them keep tabs on Ash? He encounters every legendary known to the public and then some; it'd only make sense to exploit that.

Well you get what you pay for! The more brownie points, the better brownies.

oh idk. it has a lot of potential. but DP era was probably the best for actual plot and AG the best for main character interactions. OS still reigns over all with theme songs.
