  • Nu! It was all pure and empty and then you had to ruin it like that. Why do you do these things when you know they hurt me so? </3
To delete, you might be able to do it yourself by hitting the edit button in the bottom right-hand corner of your post (so long as other posts aren't after it). If not, just ask Astinus. She's the forum mod, so she can do stuff like that.

You're welcome, by the way. Anytime.
Tip: As a note, you post the entire story within a thread. As in, it's not really necessary to keep putting chapter one, chapter two, prologue, et cetera in the title because it's assumed that your thread will have not only chapter one but also subsequent chapters. Yes, I know you probably don't have them written, but you usually post them later in the same thread. (Check the other stories to see how it's done.)

As another tip: Don't create too many stories at once. Trust me. I've tried maintaining two stories, and right now, one of them's been on hiatus for almost a year because it's difficult to maintain multiple stories at once. While it's admirable that you're that ambitious, work with only one or two chaptered works at a time. (One-shots you can fire off no problem in the meantime.) That way, you won't be pressured into juggling multiple stories and producing enough chapters to keep each one active. Less pressure to create, the better your work ends up being because you're not rushing yourself. Not to mention it keeps yourself focused on one idea, so you're not accidentally crossing wires or leaving stories abandoned.

The latter's generally the problem with authors with over 9000 active fics. Readers who look at that assume you can't maintain one story for a long enough time, so they don't keep up with your work because they assume you probably won't be updating.
