Well, it was a large hurricane. At least you guys didnt get it as bad Texas did. Some people like BaaBaa are still with out a lot of services. You guys really were lucky. I've been watching the news reports and I'm just shocked. I can understand how you're feeling right now. Up here in Washington we get terrible windstorms from the cold Arctic air crashing into Warm Hawaii air. At least you guys get yours in the Summer. Whenever we get ours its winter, 30 degree roughly and we go without power for up to a week. So be grateful you have power, internet and decent temperatures.

Ugh we didn't have any electricity for well it was only like half a day, but we were one of the few houses that had electricity, so I guess we wrer lucky, but even when we had power I couldn't get on the internet(no phone service) so I couldn't get on and the day after we didn't have school(no power at school). The odd thing about the storm it was just wind and it was all remnence of Hurricane Ike and it somehow came all the way up from the Gulf of Mexico to Kentucky(where I am). This all happened on Sunday and places still don't have power.

So Ruby, how did you guys weather the storm?
