That it was.....I also liked how it reminded me of LeafGreen in that I hadn't a clue what happened in the plotline....other than the inevitable battle(s) against Red and Silver.

Those graphics really made the main Sinnoh-based Gen IV games look bad, tbh.

To me, LeafGreen's actually better as there aren't any Gen III/IV pokémon in it, just Gen I/II. HeartGold being stuffed full of Gen III and IV post-1st E4 challenge ruined it a bit....after all, there are 256 pokémon in the regional pokédex anyway!

Oh well, we'll never see eye to eye on anything other than the decline of the anime then.....the only good part about that's been the picture quality xD

Do you play the remakes? (FireRed / LeafGreen and HeartGold / SoulSilver), or do you just stick to GBC?

Haha, now that part about Max, I can agree on. He was funny when he said he was a gym leader, but that was it. Tbh, the only good parts about May are her Blaziken and Glaceon (particularly the former). I disliked how Brock's pokémon didn't get enough screen time to evolve Marshtomp into Swampert...

Just wondering out of curiosity, is it the regions/storylines you don't like in Gen III/IV games, or the pokémon themselves?

That was a good line-up, I've gotta admit.....although May was nice for a change as she actually played a more major role, it has been set out to be the story of Ash, not his co-stars. Brock is good....he's just been ruined. I think he's only evolved 3 pokémon since he got to Hoenn, and arguably played even less of a role than he did in Kanto/Johto. They did need to mix it up a little though, they were obviously running out of ideas for him...but Iris sounds horrifically annoying.

I think they'll give everyone what they want and have a cameo role for him, like Misty and May have done.

3 weeks? You haven't watched in a while, have you? It was about January when he got badge 7, and he got badge 8 on saturday. But that is an extreme example...

I can understand the VAs though....god Dawn's voice annoys me...Dawn's character annoys me actually.....but I gotta admit, I like Ash's new voice better, the old one's a bit squeaky and annoying...sounds more like a 10-year-old xD

If you're saying the anime "taking too long for everything", then I can agree. I sort of switched off for most of DP, only watching major battles.

If you're saying the games take too long....I can kinda see what you mean....and I gotta admit, HeartGold's final Rocket Admin battle seems a bit...anti-climatic.

Fair enough. I suppose in places they do start to drag a bit.....and I do completely and utterly detest the fog, although it does make it slightly less boring when you're saved by the fact that a 100% accurate move misses.

And if you watched the cartoons, I can see why you hated it.....I like the opening themes, as Hoenn was what I grew up with, but god, those contests are awful......

Hey, this might seem a bit weird, but....why do you hate Hoenn and Sinnoh? I personally like all regions for different reasons, so I'm not going to harass you for your opinion, I'm just curious to see if there's any way to convert you :P

Oh, and your signature reminded me of me. I got booted out about 3 times for a month or so, as I kept getting lucky battling, upset the mods, who then upset me, so I flamed and got booted :S
