Look, petal ~ do you ever wonder what your behavior is doing for people's impressions of the autistic community? When you flip out and blame it on your illness; you lower peoples estimations of the entire demographic; and that's just not fair on them. If you're going to have a temper; and have these episodes of temporary lack of sanity; you need to stand by the conviction that you're doing it of your own accord ~ not "because you have a disability".

*I* have a mental illness. *I* have several. *I* know what it's like to be typecasted and outcasted because of these illnesses; but *I* don't try and use them as an excuse for my behavior.
