The world will and has found ways to survives regardless of what we've put it through, I don't think it's going down ANY time soon. It was a theoretical documentary on Discovery where people just disappeared. Like, just gone. After a thousand years, there was BARELY any evidence we were even here. MAYBE a cellphone that survived and was grown into a giant tree. New York was completely covered, the buildings got so old they literally just collapsed and crumbled, all the steel things we made rusted and turned into dust, all the plastic was buried forever under the grass, the trees were as tall as buildings, and NOTHING but animals roamed around. It was an awesome and chilling show.

Well I have a few friends who've played D/P/Pt and think they're 'obsessed.' Said friends don't really ever talk about it, and as far as I know have only played one game and maybe watched a couple episodes on occasion.

I know I sound crazily obsessive, but being an only child stuck inside all day makes me desperately need a hobby.

I think they all like english dubbed anime and manga (well, translated, not dubbed) too. Not my thing. I'm one of those stuck up types who only watches/reads fan translations. Call me crazy. Also it's a lot of shoujo. And Naruto. I guess I'm too particular.

I actually really want to live in a city. Not like...a colossal one, but somewhere that's got stuff. People here go to Wal-Mart for fun.

Well I guess you just didn't buy in to what your dad was saying. And I consider that to be a good thing from what you've told me. I actually have a friend irl who had a stepdad that sounds like how you're describing your father.

Religion is one of those touchy things, but I think people use it as an excuse to be bad more than a reason to be good. I don't even really like it when people are only good because of religion, but if they had to be one way or the other than I wish they would at least fake kindness. Saying that God smites everything you don't understand is just another way of manipulating it to suit your purposes.

Well my somewhat convoluted understanding of religion is that God is supposed to be personal so I don't see what's wrong with that at all. It seems like your ideas on God are closer to how God is supposed to be (kind, forgiving, not out for blood) than a lot of what people say.
