Actually it is impossible to beat Yggdrasill even with cheating, unless you are a professional ROM Hacker capable of editing the stats of your party and enemies. The battle against Yggdrasill ends after about 1mins, even if you dont lose technically. The scene is the same as when you are defeated, Yggdrasill tries to wipe you out and Botta saves you.

Seems that both you and Mewthree have PIforums in your sigs. Mind telling me whats your relationship with PI?

We'll find some way around it, I'm sure. Even if you can't, that's what technology today is for. XD

Well FFXII is quite easy to beat once you figure out a way to quick-levelup. I remember there is an undead type monster early in the game which only appears if your HP is below 10% of maximum. It cast Dark rapidly on you, but you can kill it instantly with a phoenix down. The enemy gives a huge number of EXP, which makes our lives a lot simpler later in the game. XD

I see, so perhaps not as bad as my laptop. ^^ The fact that you are running Vista may be a problem, since Vista requires much higher specs to run certain programs. But anyway, its completely up to you whether to give a shot on Emulators.

Well I can beat Kratos without using 2x exp, but not in mania mode. The problem is that you'll have to waste a certain number of gels and life bottles on Remiel, and Kratos can kill your party instantly if your HP is way too low after Remiel's battle. I havent found anyone who manage to beat Yggdrasill though, dunno if this is even possible...

umm how old is your computer? My laptop is almost three years old now and I can still run ToS at a relatively good speed, and the music was messed up because of the emulator.

hehe just incase you didnt notice, that player cheated as his/her monsters were at ridiculously high levels early into the game. It usually takes only a few hits for you to be beaten by Lloyd(even though it wont be game over). Still, I wonder whom Lloyd was referring to when he said "I am sorry dad". Kratos or Dirk?

Well it was indeed quite weird when I first touched FFXII and its battle system, but I fell in love with it in a very short time. The only drawback is that you can leave everything for the computer, go to watch a movie and return to find your characters gaining levels. XD

I see, but dont worry you can try Wii emulator on your computer now! The only thing you need is a legal ROM of Wii copied from the disk, and compress it into an .iso file. The music is messed up in the emulator, so as long as you dont mind your ears getting hurt...

Well this has gotta be an irony. And yup, Mewthree did speak highly of you so I believe you must have been a good a-admin back then. But yeah, it is really hard to tell when and whether you will get it back. You are kind and cool even as a member, so I am not surprised if members want you back to PC's staff list. XD

And I found a video on youtube. It is a battle against Lloyd in ToS2, and you will get a feel of this game if you watch it. lol Lloyd said "I am sorry, dad" after he lost.
