Honestly, it seems like the anime has taken a fair amount of artistic liberty with the myths. Given their description on the Wiki, they're based on Harpies, but with a mistranslated/misinterpreted name and less bird features, to make them more palatable for viewers.

That leaves me curious. If anything, it seems that you increased the amount of weaknesses Vampires have, while decreasing their power. Is there a particular reason you did both?

Ok. Also I wanted to tell you that whenever Elise isn't with Frio (which is frequent but they are close friends, nothing serious. It also makes it very easy for me to post what both of them are doing) I'll be fairly tolerable of you bunnying her. It is the reason I write with her in the 3rd person.

If not could you just change what you want him to say/do in a conversation to whatever you like and it can be a joint post? It just seems unneccisarly inefficient for you to make a whole post just for that 5 min exchange you know.
