/watching anime on laptop and badly dubbed anime on TV at the same time

I remember a friend of mine in 8th grade got me to watch it, and he had all the DVDs but lost the last, but we still managed to watch all 12 episodes. It was the dub, but still XD

That was the strangest anime I've ever seen.

I wouldn't consider myself an anime fanatic. I can never seem to finish most series I start XD The same applies for manga. However, I do try and take suggestions as to what anime to get into. As a result, I got me a "My Anime List" account XD
