Well you there are only two ways to to almost choose what gets passed down the nature and the characteristic the nature can be passed down by the female parent if holding a everstone and characteristic is random so what you would have to do to get the 3rd iv inherited is random as well then the rest of the ivs that are not inherited our random so the best way to do this is have a female with the nature you want give it a everstone and hatch eggs till you get about 6 with the nature and characteristic you want then check there ivs...eventully you will have 2 31 ivs in one of the pokes after reapeating this then once you have it reapeat the process the pokes ivs will steadly get better and better as you breed

So for example lets say i wanted a mild caterpie with alert to sounds as charecteristic
beacuse Mild can provide a 31 iv in SpAtk and Alert sounds can in Speed

i would breed till i got my caterpie with
31 ivs in both that i wanted

then i would take that caterpie and breed it

its offspring could then possibly inherit its ivs and so on and so forth till you have a perfect poke could take days thou....
