  • You probably shouldn't post the Heardle result in the thread, it kinda spoiled today's answer for me.

I hope I'm not coming off as mean, or anything. But, since you live in a timezone different from me, and all.
This one had apes but no elephants. I was saddened learning about the treatment of elephants in circuses, glad that went on a decline. This is a very short video that shows how intelligent orangutans can be. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od_PmtmMDV0. They are among my favorite animals ever.

It was mostly live TV for the $65, and maybe a few movies. I think the appeal is for people leaving cable but still want all the channels. It's still cheaper than a cable subscription. Pretty sure cable will cease someday soon. I don't even know of anybody my age who has it.

It's alright. I have the new Kirby game too, but haven't played it. I'm not a big fan of most platformers. There's only a few exceptions, and there are a couple of Kirby games that I enjoyed. I also got FF15 for $5 in a mall.
I feel conflicted. Zoos are great for preservation, but I wonder if we can ever provide a proper stimulation for natural habitat. Apes in particular make me conflicted too. These are very intelligent creatures. The orangutan was looking back at us through the glass, and covered his face with a hand like he was craving privacy. Orangutans are intelligent enough to use basic human tools like saws, and there was an instance of one driving a golf cart.

We had to cancel YouTube TV because it was $65.00 a month. It was insane. Otherwise we have Hulu, Peacock, Dinsey+, Sling TV, and Netflix. Sounds like a lot but most of the time we just get the cheapest plans, not premium tier. Considering ditching Netflix because they apparently want to charge to share passwords.

Hope you had a nice birthday. Sorry that I didn't really have a great birthday message. i'm just too awkward. Regardless I hope it was a good one.
My family loves restaurants. We ate lunch at 2:00 PM and dinner at 4:00 PM. Never had sushi though. I'm not into seafood. (despite...living in a seafood area). The zoo was cool. I think they could have done better for the animals. I could share images with discord if it's okay. Deleted the app though, found it overstimulating.

The nice thing is that the $50 works for the entire year. Although I don't think so many complaints would arise if you could just do $4.25 a month. The Animal Crossing DLC being part of it was cool too. Ocarina of Time had input lag which was disappointing. I still finished the whole thing.
I think I simply ate too much. We stopped for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner and it seems my stomach rejected the sudden heavy amount of food. (As my family also orders starter meals, deserts, and the actual main course meals). It was a fun trip. We went to museums and a zoo.

Are you using the expansion pass for the paid plan? I still find it a bit lacking. But that's okay. I'm hoping if the gameboy leak is true, maybe Gen 3 could be added.
It's okay, no problem at all. On a trip with my family at the moment. It's 1:00 AM in a hotel and I feel awfully sick. It's quite miserable.

I heard GBA games may be coming to Switch Online soon. Hopefully for the free tier. Even as someone with the expansion pass, not every future upgrade should be locked behind it.
Have a wonderful, safe, and blessed easter

GTA trilogy likely sold well. It's RockStar games and they've achieved ludicrous popularity. I believe them to be in a similar situation of gamefreak. Anything they make will sell high amounts.

Yeah emulation is getting more viable as systems increase in power. There's already a 3DS emulator called Citra, and my run of the mill windows 11 CPU can handle gamecube titles at 60 FPS.

And all good. Have fun with family.
It's alright. As long as you're having fun with it. I ended up with nearly 60 hours in xenoblade within a couple weeks. Did not want to bother you at all.

Generally, I don't like quitting games. I am trying the infamous remaster of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. They took a 15 year old title, slapped on some new textures, and called it a remaster with a $60 price tag. Honestly makes me feel proud of gamefreak. (they also took down the original PS2 game from the shop. so if anyone wants to play, it forces the $60).

I understand. I get nervous before family comes. Admittedly, we don't have a ton of family anymore. My dad's side disappeared when he passed away, more and more people continue to neglect contact. I am feeling better, thank you.

Thanks for adding. Me and aslan have became friends over the last week. Fun to speak with, and glad to have as a friend. I'm still too anxious for the main chatrooms. Maybe someday.
It's okay. I've been sort of long winded, so i apologize.

I quit the rom hack. I was at victory road, but when the game is making me feel stress it's time to put it away. I deleted the entire game. Never really enjoyed super difficult games anyways, and most of the time I lower the difficulty when it's an option. Had two full boxes of pokemon because I felt my team never worked.

I haven't enjoyed the last 3 days. Waking up with anxiety and it looms all day. Hopefully it'll be a better week coming up, but it's blocking my sleep which I hate.

I made a discord, it's @zeostar00#3136. doubtful that i'll use it or check much, but if you want you can friend me anyways. Figured it wouldn't hurt having a discord again. Also I'll would like to write in a good word for @Aslan who patiently put up with tons of my stupid questions, because I am absolutely clueless about discord. They did a terrific job with helping.
ROM hacks have truly evolved. Almost all of them include the Psychical/Special split. Some include Gen 8, but most include pokemon up to gen 7. Fairy types and Mega Evolution exist in most hacks. It's amazing seeing all of these fit into GBA roms. That said, I made it to Victory Road and my game crashed ._. hadn't saved in a long time. The NPC boss trainers are starting to have full teams of legendaries, and it's not exactly fun. Most grind heavy rom hacks are not existent these days. This one includes dex nav + audino chaining.

I don't think the original Dragon Quest 3 was too hard, but I did need a guide. 3, 5 and 11 are still considered the best in the series. 5 is even on the app store (but it's kind of price heavy). I'm not that skilled at video games. (i mean, i lost to hau in moon). I've died like 100+ times in this rom hack. I just keep stubbornly trudging forward.

My family just isn't social, and I sort of...mirrored it. Even online I fall into the habit of not interacting with people. I became comfortable enough on here to try and reach out a little. I made a few friends, although i feel like a weirdo sometimes because most people use the discord and I still prefer the VM system.

That's what I was told in the hospital. This stomach issue was likely linked to anxiety. They gave me an emergency medication and long term for panic attacks. The emergency was only if I was alone and wasn't able to reach anybody. I haven't been needing it. Things can definitely start looking up, maybe the issues you've had with your stomach will subside in 6 months to a year? I was having panic attacks daily, which usually included a fainting feeling with heart palpitations. I never thought they would end, but the future can always brighten.
Now it's a shiny Alakazam. I wasn't expecting the pink color but it's definitely one of my favorite shiny pokemon now. This is a very difficult rom hack so I might not end up finishing it. The A.I switches with so much frequency it can feel like fighting a real human. I'm at Giovanni in Silph Co, so i'm not ashamed of my attempt. (almost had a volcarona but it level capped me at 56 ._.) larvesta evolves so late. Such a gen 5 thing.

Dragon Quest 3 is getting an Octopath Traveler style remake. It will look like this: https://assets-prd.ignimgs.com/2021/05/27/maxresdefault-1-1622113162164.jpg

We texted frequently, that's why we ended up eventually calling. This person did suggest an IRL meet up once, and thinking back I wasn't comfortable with it. I'm not financially independent yet anyways. + school related obligations, not like i can just run around everywhere, even if I had any interest in that sort of thing.

I had problems with walking too. Not in a while, but it was pretty bad because of the bloating. I usually take a 20mg acid dissolver. It can help, but it takes hours before I feel the difference. So I'm up most of the night waiting. Otherwise, probiotic yogurt helps me too.

I hope it gets better for you. The sucky thing is that I have acute panic disorder. (also called severe general anxiety). Any sort of bodily discomfort can set it off, so I constantly need to distract myself. Panic attacks are some of the most horrific things. I never want to go into those.
Yeah, that's why I don't play Bandori. The amount of notes on those charts can get ridiculous.

I tend to play colorful stage (jp) every day. I'm big on Vocaloid.

I also picked up d4dj lately(english) after putting it off for almost a year.
I found another shiny. This time an abra. I've never been so lucky in these games.

It was scary because teleport, but I caught it with a quick ball.
Do you play Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage?
I play the japanese server but that's what the english server is called
My condolences for your file. I've heard older cartridges can end up with dead internal batteries. I remember when I was about 12 years old, I found a vintage copy of Pokemon Silver for $20. My mother let me order it, made it to the 8th gym and lost the copy when we moved houses. (._. never liked moving, felt like something would always go missing). Sword/Shield still felt slow to me for some reason. Gen 5 feels the fastest.

I don't know what MSN is. I've only heard of AOL. But yeah real time talking is fine. I had a friend on pokecommunity who wanted to do a phone call with me. Hated the idea, did it anyways. It wasn't as bad as I envisioned in my head. No reddit for me. I don't like how you can just bury people in downvotes for expressing a differing opinion.

It's difficult. Sometimes you might start feeling better, and it's really hard not to go crazy when feeling good because it makes you want to eat everything. I can be perfectly fine during the day, but feel everything I ate at night. And it gets worse when eating at a restaurant, because always in the back of my mind "this is going to hurt later". Or I just get full really quickly. I reminisce on being able to eat anything with these concerns.

Random mention, but I caught a shiny geodude in a rom hack I was playing. But the rom hack is so difficult I might save my sanity and use the much better excadrill. Pretty sure everything is going to have a grass move as coverage.
Ouch! I read your post. Sorry to hear about this setback you experienced.

You mentioned that you would go to the doctor in the upcoming month if things persisted. I was wondering to help in the meantime if you had given a little aloe vera a try? It's always good for reducing inflammation, dryness and any sort of skin damage, and feels very soothing to the skin. It might do you some good on the area of the face that is irritated. Oatmeal also has helped me when I experience allergic reactions on the skin, bringing the swelling back down and clearing up the part of the skin where the break out happened. Thought I'd share a couple of gentle home remedies that might speed things along as you heal. If you have already tried those, I have other tips. No matter what though, you're still beautiful Janna <3
I felt BDSP was also slow due to those friendship messages. The more I ventured into Brilliant Diamond, the less I enjoyed it. These had the difficulty of Gen 6 until the elite four, without any of the pokemon variety. The underground was a nice feature, but i wish some of the cool pokemon could be on the routes.

I'm thinking about trying a mono type run. Either electric or water. Maybe pokemon sword because the wild area would make it easy, and I would get to try the DLC.

You mentioned it's not obligated and I agree, because there are staff who mentioned not using it. Yet a few months ago it was written in bolded letters on the links to applications "You must have a discord". It's not why I quit. Being in and out of the hospital for anxiety between 2019-2020 took a toll on me. (i'm doing better now...but still stands true). Maybe at some point i'll try the discord. I couldn't right now even if I wanted. It wants me to verify, but my phone number isn't active atm.

How is your stomach feeling? Since you mentioned it in a post. Sort of relatable, i've had bad reflux issues in the past.
    All good :)

SMT is great and I really like it. I've bean I, IV, and IVA. I'm working on III right now. I got a used copy of V from a store but it's not working so I need to go back this weekend to try and exchange it or get a new copy instead :/

SMT is like, a darker Pokemon with gods and demons and it's great. I'm also hoping to pick up some of the spin-off titles too! Especially focusing on older games in general that I missed out on cuz I didn't have money as a kid lol.

Oh no D: I didn't even consider they'd switch to utilizing actual people cuz I thought that would be too expensive. Spam keeps evolving and I hate it.
