  • I'm going to binge the entire thing tomorrow, thanks for the link. I've never heard of this, so it should be exciting. Did you ever watch the origins series?

Let me know all about what you think of Life is Strange. As far as story games goes, it was probably my favorite experience.

Also I'm 5 episodes into Korra. The world seems so much more modern. In the original series it seemed more tribal. Also at the moment, unfortunately I prefer Aang to Korra. I guess everybody has some sort of preference. I miss my favorite character Zuko.

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you had a nice one
Oh I had never heard of Twilight Wings. I watched Pokemon Origins and really liked it, but can't find it on YouTube anymore. As far as Pokemon stuff goes, I'm excited for Pokemon Snap 2 the most. I'm glad to hear Ash won a regions league recently.

I played the PS4 version. However I think it would be fine playing on IOS if you have a strong enough phone. I recommend downloading the first episode to see if it runs, since it's free. It's a single player game, so I don't think you would need WiFi to play, but you need WiFi to install all the episodes.

I see. That sounds helpful. Personally I've never made a thread big enough to draft, I just get random ideas on the top of my head.

Ohh, also, I finally started watching The Legend of Korra. It still feels like the original show which i'm happy about, but the animation is so much nicer.
I really did like the characters in Sinnoh, especially his rival Paul. I've heard the anime isn't just tied to Galar, but ash is going through every region again. That sounds interesting, and honestly I wouldn't mind seeing the show follow a new character. I guess ash is so familiar it might not be the same to some people.

I understand. If you decide to play let me know how it goes. It was more of an impulsive purchase for me, but I had no idea what I was in for. It is one of a kind and it goes by quickly, so make sure to go through slowly. I wish I could go back and experience it again. I do pretty well with those kinds of topics. There were only a couple parts that bothered me, but the game doesn't focus too much on one issue so those scenes were over quickly. Also I found the protagonist super relatable.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the scrap box for? Located under the off-topic section. Is it like making a draft for a topic?
Have you started watching galar? I admit, I tried watching the pokemon anime so I started with Sinnoh. About 60 episodes and I just couldn't take anymore. Team Rocket was in every single episode. I hope it's been toned down a little in the new seasons. They are a funny group though. Still need to start korra. You could probably guess by these messages I get myself distracted by other things very quickly.

My uncle usually does all the driving. My mother refuses to drive in the city. I don't like driving in general. I started learning last year, but started much preferring the bus.

If I were to give one recommendation to you, that game would be it. Each episode is 2-3 hours in length. It's 5 episodes and the entire first one is free. The price of each episode is $4.99 a piece.

Fair warning, it goes into some deeply heavy subjects. (Depression, suicide, bullying, abuse, etc). But the story is beautiful and probably the best I've ever seen from a video game. I'm glad I made the purchase.
Thanks a bunch! That makes sense and I think the donations are a good idea, maybe if I'm able to and wanna be fancier I'll look into it!
    Yeah I love her she's a huge cutie <3
I saw a little bit of the sun/moon anime series. The art style looked drastically different. Would you rather see a return of trials or did you prefer gyms? Because I really liked the gym missions in galar. I hope they expand on that.

Yes, that's a good way of thinking of it. Everybody deals with something. This might be odd, but I think the ear pop is heavily satisfying. I guess partially because hearing again feels so nice.

My family is doing Christmas early. It's the only way I can see my siblings because of our differing schedules. I hope you have fun. I've never even taken a flight before, my family just drives everywhere. We even took a 12 hour drive to Disney World. Often we take a hotel stop for the night.

I played through the entirety of Life Is Strange over the last few days. It was a beautifully written story. I needed the distraction. There were a couple days where my anxiety was surging again. It was a nice thing to sink time into. I also have an essay which has been coming along painfully slow.
    Thanks so much! Honestly it was just a lot of testing and trying different things, the fonts on this size are so pretty and I'm happy with the colour scheme I've got. I used to use an old chat site where everyone kinda had flairs like this and it's something I've always wanted on a website again, so I got really eager ;;

Yours is really cute too, when I made mine I had seen some of your posts and thought I wanted to make something even half as nice as yours~
Are we able to use images for flairs? I imagine that'd be locked behind donations, right?
Ah sorry i've been slow on my response. I'm making dinner so now seems like a good time. I hope you've been doing okay.

I really enjoyed sun/moon. There's a large variety of pokemon, and I don't mind the cut scenes since I liked the characters, such as lillie and hau. I liked that hau was just having fun with his entire adventure. I don't feel like every rival needs to be super serious. Espeically because alola was a laid back region, it was fitting to have a laid back rival. Hau in Galar might not make sense where battling is treated like a sport.

It's getting better, mine pop, but it's usually after I take the allergy treatment. It's nothing too bad, just uncomfortable. And well, halloween is over so now it's Thanksgiving and Christmas ahead. Are you excited for it?
Oh okay, sorry about that. I think the COVID situation just messed them so bad, if you've had trouble dealing with them in the past then I can't imagine trying to work with them now. You think things will have improved by the time December rolls in?
You've been in SA this whole time?? I thought you'd left there last year, it seemed like you were only going to be there for a few months when we last spoke about it. How have you been holding up while there, given all that has happened in SA since they went into their first lockdown earlier in the year?
Ohhhh that sounds better. So if you pay for one you get both? That's quite nice.

I don't have incredible luck with shines. I seem to only find them on emulator, and it's much less valuable to me than finding a shiny on cartridge. I don't know if you finished Ultra Sun, but if you were good at the wormhole surfing you had a really strong chance of finding shiny pokemon.

I hope you had a good Halloween. I had a very small gathering with local family. Unfortunately I'm deaf in one ear at the moment. Occasionally I get fluid build up in my left ear. I have some stuff the doctor gave me to drain it, but takes about a week.
I'm not sure what max lairs are, but how it sounds reminds me of max raid battles. I actually tried doing them on my recent playthrough, the NPC's were just not helpful. I only beat a single 5 star raid battle. It was especially upsetting when it gave me magikarp on a 5 star raid battle. I do wish the prices for the DLC could be toned down slightly. Buying them together would be $60, which is the price of a full switch game. I could even buy Shield for that much.

I admire how independent cats are, and I still love them of course. I agree about dogs. They do require much more attention, for me that quickly turns into becoming attached.

I still plan of watching Legend of Korra soon. I got distracted following a let's play on YouTube.
(Super Ultra Elite Level Admin) Sheep! Geez, has it really been a year since we last had a chat?? We need to fix that ASAP :) I've been doing alright, trying to stay afloat during this mess of a year. Thank you 2020, but you can go now. The family is okay too, sticking together and remaining sane haha. How about you and your side of the world?
Playing these games on set somewhat gives more incentive to use defensive pokemon, since every time you switch it forces you to take a hit. But I can only tolerate playing on set in the new games because EXP is already distributed to everybody. I understand how it is with the online. To be honest, I was only interested in online because it's the closest thing to virtual console. By the way did you get the crown tundra DLC? I'm not sure if it's released yet, but on pokemon showdown they added a bunch of new pokemon.

I do have somewhat of a preference towards dogs, just because the attachment they feel towards people is unreal. Our dog will place herself near the door when we leave the house, and will remain for hours until we return. When she hears the door open you can see her perk up and start crying from happiness. She even waits outside my bedroom door in the morning. Today marks one year of having her. She's 1 and a half years old.

To put it bluntly, noctowl is weak. I used it in gen 2, and it wasn't the star member at all. But with the new EXP system, pokemon don't have to KO for experience. So it allowed noctowl to play more of a support role since it has hypnosis, reflect, and light screen. And it still gains experience. It also has nice defensive stats. (100 base HP, 96 special defense). That does sound fun, trying a game with all weaker pokemon. I have a hard time breaking out of the traditional way I go about playing. I tried monotype but got bored with the restrictions.

I wish let's go pikachu/eevee would have kept the kanto evolutions they received in later gens. Like onix turning into steelix, tangela to tangrowth, etc. Aside from that I think the game is underrated and doesn't deserve the hatred just for appealing to a more casual side.

I love animals. Yes, they are pure and I feel that whenever I look one in the eyes. I enjoy nature as a whole. When covid ends I wish to visit a zoo or safari park. I have a cat who is a bit of the opposite. She's solitary, has a dominant personality. (We bring other pets in and she asserts herself as the boss immediately). Will only approach if she wants food or water. I still love her unconditionally. She's 11 years old right now, she's been there more than half my life and I hope in my heart she has many more years. (Here's a photo of her).

I did it on my first try. I was slightly under his levels, and playing on set mode. I sold all my revives because I don't like using them in battle. I randomly caught a noctowl and it ended up saving me so many times in this game it was hilarious. Noctowl survived an outrage from haxorous, and saved the whole team because it was able to set up reflect. Noctowl is now one of my favorite flying types. It was the last surviving in 3 gyms, the only reason i beat oleana, the only reason i beat hop in the tournament was because it loved me and survived with one HP.

MK7 does a similar thing when holding A. I thought oras did a great job improving on the rivals, especially the match with Wally at the end. And to be fair I just really like hoenn. I also like let's go pikachu and eevee, to be honest I just think the games are cute.

I'm glad it's getting better. It's okay to think about it, and you'll always keep a part of her with you. Our dog ripped up a toy and left the mess in my room. When she passed away, it took 6 months before I could get myself to clean it up. And she really was an incredible teacher. One of the professors noticed I looked gloomy, I told her what happened and that I still showed up for finals. She gave me a hug.
I'll probably start Korra tomorrow. I'm trying to finish up Pokemon Sword. I'm at the championship tournament. I'm not sure how Leon is going to go. I'm not exactly crushing the tournament matches.

3DS was a great system. Mario Kart 7 was my one of my favorite childhood games. Gen 6 Pokemon games were also some of my favorite ones. Particularity Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.

I don't live in a city, even though I've been to DC countless times. I'm always overwhelmed by the amount of things to do. It's such a different feeling.

I hope it's been getting a little easier. Grief is okay and should be done as long as you need. Losing a pet is losing family.

In my own experience, our dog got sick a couple years ago around christmas. She had to be put to sleep at the vet. Right after that, I had to go to school and do a presentation. Before I started I explained what happened, and if my ability to present was hindered that was why. The teacher was wonderful. She pulled me aside, excused me from the presentation, and gave me full credit. Not everyone would have been that understanding, so I did luck out.
Krile it shall be then! No trouble at all. I'll keep you updated. I'm glad I could do something to spread some cheer your way. You get a good night's sleep now. We'll talk more soon!

    ^_^
