Ah yeah, taking your mind off things can be really important sometimes.
Well, if you're this determined and put your heart into it, I bet you can do it. Isn't is usually this way that you usually get worked way too much in advance and in the end it works out much better than expected? At least that's often the case for me. In any case, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get the job. =)

Well, it's not like I completely ignore everything else but the thing I'm focused on at the time, but they take a very small background role. It actually works for me. If I divided my attention evenly over everything I'm interested in, I'd never get anywhere and despair. Obsessing actually helps me not going into some semi-depressed phase where I feel frustrated about doing anything at all.
