You could even realised the fps (framerate) 'problem' of Gen VI? I must be slow... :(
I have a friend here in PC called Spinosaurus"Spino or Spin", he estimated that the lowest fps possibilty would be 20, whilst in Gen IV overall have 30, Gen V overworld have 30 and 60 fps in battle and finally 60 overall fps for Gen III games!

We estimated the reason for being slow, it's most likely the pseudo-3D environment in DS series... And 3DS's using real 3D so there's real trouble there.

There's one title of Mystery Dungeon for the 3DS if you didn't know, you might want to try it,
but only limited amount of Pokemon are available, which are limited to most Unova Pokemon and few old Pokemon.

It's funny that my cat acts a bit of like a cheeky monkey, but just like yours when strangers and visitors visit us, he's the first one to run and hide upon hearing the doorbell sound! xD I guess he's mischievous and timid at the same time! Uh! Though he has his grumpy side though...:(

Yeah the Johto arc is mixed with Kanto in the end of the chapters so you missed some huge events in the end haa haa

Try Mystery Dungeon series, the graphics are not the best, but the plot is better than the main series.
