    Alright, used a different ROM and it patched successfully. Seems the game crashes in VBA-M, but not original VBA. Odd. But yeah, it's working now. Thanks.

    It appears NUPS won't let me patch it. It's saying "the patch is corrupt" and stopping it from patching, even if I click Ignore.

    Oddly, that doesn't seem to work either. EDIT: Finally figured it out. Turned out I was supposed to use the Sun Stone. My bad.

    Is Roselia's evolution bugged? The list that came with the patch said Roselia evolved into Roserade when you used a Leaf Stone, but it's not working. Or is the evolution method different?
