  • It supports as many as you need as long as it is in the standard frame format. When GameFreak made frames, they basically took each image and stacked them so that the top-most frame was frame 1 and then frame 2 below it and so on. Then, that whole image with all of the frames is compressed together. G3HS simply takes the size of the image it decompressed (there is a size header in the compression for how big the uncompressed image should be) and calculates how many frames there are. The best example of this is Castform. Eventually I will add support for adding frames, but not just yet, as it isn't common at all as of right now and will only cause confusion.
I see what you mean. I used to be shy, but then I started impressing people and gained fame. Then I just became more outgoing lol
Now I own 2 wonderful hacks, a great team and a chat all to myself
Well I first tried daily to understand. You must know that perseverance will help you a ton. I tried reading JPAN's thumb tutorial, but I didn't understand it. So I was recommended to Hackmew's knowledge tutorial. THAT was the moment I understood what the ff was going on :D
I practiced, got myself to create a routine that changes the pokemon's level. Eh whatever :P
Then I went back to JPAN's and it made so much more sense..
I recommend you follow that path. You might then want to try it yourself on random FR roms.
Aside from this, why not join us in the chat?

There is code lying around here somewhere for it. I know that it has been done. I would ask one of the older members, since it is actually before my time. doesntknowhowtoplay might now. Tell him I sent you.
When I was younger I probably did. It can be hard not to compare yourself to other people, but once I got older, I just realized that none of that matters. It's fine to be inspired by people who have done this for years with lots of training and practice, but you shouldn't beat yourself up over it. If that's the direction you want to go in, you'll automatically push yourself to go in that direction. If it's not for you, it's not for you. For example, I just don't draw realistically. Sure, it looks cool, but it's just not something I do or would want to do beyond fundemental reasons. I'm much more of a cartoonist. I'm not going to beat myself up because I can't paint a realistic picture, but I can appreciate the time and talent that goes into it when someone else can and does.

Essentially, you can probably do anything if you want to do it. Heck, I could probably draw realistically without too much of a problem if I wanted to do it, but I wouldn't be as good at it as people who have been doing it for years. Nevertheless, as I stated, if you want it bad enough, you'll put in the effort to do it. And you'll keep practing it until you get better at it. Along the way, you'll learn some tricks and techniques that'll make the next time easier, too. Never hurts to check out the methods other people use, too, so that you aren't going in totally blind, either!
Hi, sorry if this seems late...

There isn't much I can offer aside from learn from the right people, never stop drawing, and never be close minded, because inspiration can come from anywhere at any time. Plan large works ahead of time with thumbnails, that's something I tend to do. It's akin to writing drafts. Also, if you are going to take this extremely seriously, as in career serious, go to an art school so you can learn how to be efficient above all, but keep your own style, because sometimes I think the schools do try to mold you into their house style at times (oiling up the gears, as it were, heh).
coleman hi! Thanks so much, that really means a whole lot to me. n~n I definitely will continue to!
lol it's alright. it's my fault, i havent been on skype. i'll try to get online tomorrow.
oh snap. have you made anything yet?

    Hello! :]

Name changes are slightly backed up right now as we transition to a system that will let you change your name yourself. Give it a few days for the system to be up and running.
You need to be a member for four months to change your name but you can always shoot a private message to admin since you're under that limit with your name request and why you want it; they may reconsider if you're polite about it!

Smeargle itself is taken though, sadly. :( But soon there should be a new name change system where you can change your account's name yourself so that might be worth waiting for.
