Yes, the word is -always- Unova.

No they won't. Being that she's a mod, she can edit other user's posts, so be sure to check a thread more carefully if you don't see the clue right away. Sometimes the clue is on the first post of a thread, and sometimes the clue is actually hidden in the thread. Like it's not on the first post and it's on a different page.. so be sure to look carefully!

Oh. Well the way to find the clues is through the title tags they are wrapped in.

To put it a better way, follow the first hint in the first post of the scavenger hunt thread, find the first clue using that hint. Now, all the clues are hidden in words that Kaori put throughout the threads.. the key word is "Unova".. so if you see that word in the thread the first hint lead you to, put your mouse over it. Text should pop up over it. This is how you will find your clues. This is thanks to something called a "title tag". Now follow that clue and find the rest of the "Unova" words that she hid throughout the threads in B&W. When you find the word "Unova" in any thread, just put your mouse over it like before. If text comes up saying "Clue #(number here)" you found a clue! Just keep following them until you find all 10. You should be finished in no time if you just follow the clues. :3
