I tend to prefer lakes over the sea, I think. In general.

We generally go to Mead Lake or Coon Forks, which are really nice places in Wisconsin. :3 Both on lakes and have all sorts of hiking trails and playgrounds and beaches.

All the impulse trips we do are camping, which is cheap. ^_^

If I'm going somewhere I've never been before I don't care about location. Though, I rarely go places I haven't been in the past few years these days XD

I haven't even been able to send a resume anywhere in over a month, so no, things aren't looking so great :p

I actually still book my vacations at hotels instead of priceline because I'm particular about where I stay. Not so much the quality as the location. With online hotel deal sites you often don't have a choice of what hotel to stay at and depending on where I'm going that could really throw a wrench in my plans XP

The little ones in my family tend to do their own thing and not hang around the older kids. They were around us just long enough to learn independence from us, then they were off. My family pretty strongly believes in figuring things out for yourself and learning by experience.

Well, my dad's cousins are all around his age or a bit younger. Then my cousins and second cousins are in kinda two groups- teens and elementary kids basically.

Mhm. I'm amazed that my family is as close as it is, with being so big. And when I say cousins, I'm talking about my cousins, my dad's cousins, and my second-cousins.
