Your friend is a smart person. That is what we did as well with the company. Keep it separate from your personal finances. Works out better in the long run for both you and your company.

To learn to script for the iphone just follow as many tutorials as you can. Thats what I did and I picked up a lot in about the first 2 weeks. Plus starting your own company costs a lot of money....A LOT OF MONEY. We have spent a lot on simple things like the office and just transport. Not to mention that you have to pay for any software you wish to produce work with (like photoshop or 3D studio max).

Yeah I started a gaming company here with 3 other guys.
We are doing okay. We are currently developing for the iphone only right now. I'm the only coder, so it's been really stressful.
