I'm not really planning on having ash on the ground. It's more like pools of lava just sitting around.

Ah, I'm already at school. You're lucky enough to not be there yet... :c And that's awesome, I actually did some music hacking myself recently. And thanks! Heiwa Adventures is progressing well (it's got 3 mostly finished cities and 4 routes), and I'm mapping a volcano right now. :)

Never mind, I think I've figured it out! It seems to be divided up into sections which all need repointing... Since it was all once big chunk of text I didn't think there'd be separate parts to it.

Well it worked better than before, now instead of breaking after the first few lines it reverts back to the original.

Can I ask what hex editor you use for editing text? Of the 5 or 6 I tried that had table support, the only one that could actually edit the text was Hexecute, and it's pretty awful compared to HxD.

I overwrote it, but it was smaller than the original.

Hey, I've been trying to edit professor oak's intro at the start of my hack and I couldn't quite figure out how to do it. I thought you might know something about it since you've managed to change it in Gaia. I edited the text how it's meant to be (I think), but when I tested it out, it just breaks after the first few lines. I was wondering, is there any sort of character limit or some kind of rule I need to follow when editing it? I don't quite get it. :/

Hey Spherical, I've been wanting to compile a mega-thread on all available information regarding NDS rom hacking I can find.
Some of the information would be from dead archived threads, with the credit to their rightful owner.
My question is whether or not a thread containing information from all sorts of dead and forgotten posts is even permitted?
Finding information on NDS hacking is pretty rough, there are so many small posts across a multitude of forums. I'd really like to make one centralized post for everyone to contribute and add too.
