It's because of my fear of being lampooned into the gay stereotype that I'm still in the goddamn closet. I've contemplated coming out for almost a full year now and all my thoughts lead me back to, "Well, do I want my friends to think of me as Prissy McQueenie?", which I certainly don't.

Hey I saw your post in that thread there and I just wanted to say that I don't think you should pay attention to stereotypes. Because well, obviously not every person is the same, right? But at the same time, there are people who DO sort of live that stereotype. I had a good friend of mine come out of the closet a while ago, and within the year he had changed from the sweet guy I know to kinda having an "act" and basically playing into the gay stereotype. I say that you should just let people be who they want to be. And yeah, the stereotype may not be true to some.. but there actually are people out there who do reflect that stereotype.
Usually it's because aren't really mature, or they haven't really discovered who they are yet.. but I think personally, you should focus on yourself and your own wants.. and try to ignore society and how they label you.. because I don't think there is such a thing as a label for a human being.

Just my thoughts and I thought you'd appreciate hearing. :3
