If you really want, I could just send you a PID/SID that should work and you can test it out. I never figured out how to make them have good IVs, but I know neither of us really care about that. I'll be home in about 3 hours, if you can't figure it out by then.

It's mostly just finding the correct SID/PID that works. I double check everything, though, so that might have something to do with it. I believe the only legendary you can get shiny with Cute Charm is Heatran because it has a 50/50 split, which is good because I'd like to get a second shiny Heatran.

It takes some trial and error. After trying to mess around with timing it myself, it still took about two hours to figure out how to modify my PID/SID and change that in PkHex (I was using PkHex for the first time, mind you). Doing it on Platinum took only about 30 minutes because of practice.

It only works on wild encounters, as far as I could figure. So, in HGSS, I don't know if it works on Sudowoodo or Snorlax. I didn't really try, nor did I investigate too heavily.

Also, make sure you check your PID/SID with the specific seed you chose in the main window of RNG Reporter. You can check/filter to see if you will run into shinies. If there's a lot of !!!, then you're good.

You'll need RNG Reporter. Within it is Pandora's box (in the upper ribbon for Gen IV). Your PID/SID will be near each other numerically. To use, I would recommend looking for female Pokemon with a male lead Cute Charmer. This is because all Pokemon that have a gender ratio, even a 12.5%, will be available. While searching for specific male leads is harder because you have to choose your gender ratio. I'm using a female Jigglypuff in HGSS for male 50/50% Pokes and a male Clefairy in Platinum for any females.

Other than that to get started, just follow the guide. I'm here to clarify everything, seeing as I've done it twice now.

Really? That'd make my life a ton easier, considering Guzzlord's low catch rate. I have two Moon Balls with me, while, statistically, I need 17 to get it 50% of the time. If I had just a few more, though, it's already great for me. Could you send me six of them? I believe things would be quite faster this way. Plus, I can send you your Xurkitree with Ice HP and your Kartana. :D

A lot of the emulators for GBA and SNES work better on a N3DS, though. So, that's my struggle: buy my 4th system in the 3DS/2DS line, or just keep doing what I'm doing now.

I really should have taken a few Moon Balls with you. The one Guzzlord I managed to catch in a Moon Ball until now had a neutral nature. -.-

Hmm, I'm not sure I'd be able to check it (I was thinking of going to GameStop and Idk if they'd let me turn it on and check before purchase; you'd think they would but sometimes they have weird rules). That also means that the used system would have to be used for Homebrew, which still leaves my current system as my main system therefore I would have to get it fixed. Loooootta stuff I'd have to do. >>

Oh cool! I was also going to buy a new system when I get to the states, but since you mentioned that the latest system updates have made Homebrew impossible, maybe I'll just try to get my current system fixed...so your plan there is gon work out real nice lol. I was one step away from just releasing anything older than 6th Gen if I hadn't gotten it from a good source (which is APPARENTLY MOST OF MY STUFF / grumbles).

Here's the list of stuff I want, but keep in mind I don't require anything specific for the trade. :D

High priority - These guys in Luxury Ball:
Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Chimchar, Piplup.

Medium priority - These guys with their HA, preferably in Luxury Ball:
Hippopotas, Burmy, Sentret, Qwlfish, Patrat, Karrablast, Shelmet, and Deerling in Summer, Autumn and Winter forms.

Low priority - These guys with HA, preferably in a Luxury Ball:
Farfetch'd, Dunsparce, Ducklett, Heatmor, Drampa.

I also am interested in a Luxury Ball Oranguru, and I guess that's all.

They're making the N2DS have a more easily accessible mini SD, so that's probably why I'll make that my cloner if I buy it.

That would be nice. I might get the New 2DS because I hate taking my backplate off my New 3DS just so I can look at save files or play SNES games.

I think Cubic Ninja was only downloadable in Europe or Japan. Never made it to North America past the cart. One thing to note is that they haven't cracked an old 3DS with the newest update past, like, 10.5 or whatever. You can only do New 3DS.

I bought the cart for $30 off eBay. It's a little annoying switching out so much, but at least I get Homebrew. Ninjhax works on the newest update, though. Smealum cracked the update the day of.

I use Ninjhax. Smealum's pretty reliable in updating the hack every time there's a system update. I have a second 3DS for cloning that I never update, though.
