Don't forget that he also became infused with Light Eco in Jak 3, so that probably helped him quite a bit. It's interesting to think about how different . . . or how similar he might have been. He still would have been a bit of a crime fighter guy thing, and perhaps still would have been given Light Eco abilities by the Precursors, so he might not have turned out so much different, other than being less angry face.
