I'M THE SAME WAY it's mostly about the plot for me the first time bc i wanna embrace the story and then i'll go back and do all the extra stuff. but omg shotlocks....... even though i played BBS a lot i like never used them and I think the first time I tried really using them was KHIII for the enemies i couldn't seem to get close to. same with magic tbh I was also very 'let's just hit the enemy with the key a lot' i'm glad i'm not the only one!!

oh gosh i forgot about that detail ughhh such a good boi!! he deserves all the happiness in the world! the board game is really fun and a good way to get some shotlocks and such! i believe some of them you could only get via the board game but I forget lol. it was a good thing to play when i didn't feel like doing anything else but i had the game on or smth.

honestly i feel you there. i mean i can always watch the movie to get the general story again but there's so many little scenes that aren't in the movie that are fantastic that i'd love to see again. for me it was the opposite like i played days after KHII because I wanted to know about Roxas' backstory and I had the game for years so i finally played it lol i'll stan roxas forever i hope he's in the future installments somehow!! AND YES BBS i love love the battle system and honestly my most replayed KH bc of it. the board game is also really fun imo.
