So, I'm thinking they could be rivals/enemies, since my character doesn't really care for other rich kids. lol. They do have similarities in that they both think they are the best, and even though they could be enemies, they could recognize each other's strength and respect it.

Yes that would work, the Bernavards are very good lawyers and know about loopholes so trust me, your fathers wouldn't be put away. If you want, you can even have it where Lucia can know him via the trial and such. Also it would help if you would know a bit about Lucia and such and how her family works. Roger that. Generally speaking, if you plan on losing there's not much of an issue. It's when people want to MacGyver their brand new characters or characters with low levels or low experience into winning that an issue arises.

Currently they're all NPCs, which means anyone can control them within the rules. :P

Haha, I'd do the same. My parents usually take me out to dinner at some restaurant. My birthday is actually in a week and a half, so let's see what they have planned up their sleeves. I don't like anything big, though. My birthday is also on a Monday, so that kinda sucks, lol. :p
