  • At my high school not too many quit once they got to 9th grade. That's because our marching band is a big deal at the school and I'm sure a lot of people joined just to get a chance to be in it. I know I did... Kind of, well mostly.

Aww... Thanks. But of course I don't think I'm awesome. XD

And I agree on the wall posting thing. It's annoying because now we're not even notified when we get a new message.
No, I'm calling myself dumb. I have been in band. So I had no excuse for being that ignorant. lol And 10th grade was my FOURTH year of band. So yeah, no excuses for me.
Well I guess early on when I was in band I was confused. The low brass (baritones and tubas) looked kind of alike to me. (The tuba is a lot bigger, but when seeing them in a picture with nothing to be compared to, I'll get confused.)

And I didn't know what a bassoon was until 10th grade. And that's when I wanted to start learning it. XD

So I was pretty dumb until 10th grade. >_<
    No... that's a trumpet. :o

(No offense, but I've really never ever ever heard that one before. XD I thought most people would at least know what a trumpet is. o_o)

    And, thanks.
The signature? I never used it on VGD. :o

Well that's the thing... I just don't like "Envy II" as well as "Envy". But yeah, that'd be nice if you could do that.
Oops, forgot to reply before I went to bed. : ) That's why didn't say it out right, hoping you'd make the connection yourself.

.-. If the sprites and tiles were amazing as in they were in a totally different style and better than Nintendo's, or something like that maybe. But usually if you're creative enough to envision a beautiful world, you can create some story to go along with that world.

You didn't just stalk our conversations and see what he said? ;P
He was over reacting to a small comment you said and I didn't think that was fair at all, so of course I would voice my concern.
They probably are written by twelve year olds...
I understand that a story has to be good as well, and really to me it's got to be good period. Or there's a pointless game.

Lunar is the moon, and the moon has monthly phases.

I stalk too. :) But it's fun to catch someone.
Graphics i.e. banners or spriting? Because I mean that in the same sense, btw.

I don't really play many of the games here but I like looking at the screen shots and I see alot with Kyledove's tileset and really horrible trainers.
;_; Some days I hate myself and some days I love myself and I can never tell why each day is different. I would say right now it's because of Lunar and it's close to my birthday. I tend to be "OMFGLOVEMEIT'SMYBIRTHDAYCELEBRATEMEEEEEEE"! It doesn't help I'm turning 18, which is more special than a normal birthday! (And so was my 16th, so it's harder to buy now...)

I wouldn't call HoF's a bite as it's more of a reminder, and there goes that problem. When asked straight out I don't know how to say no without giving "I'm too busy." crap. "I can't." is a lie, because I can. "No, sorry." is just rude without an explanation which explanation=excuse, and...Yeah.

"Current Activity: Viewing Conversation Vişne Tanrıça and Anastasia.R"
    Stalker. :'<
Oh I knew I was in the running. xD I was happy, it's just not a spot I envisioned myself in.

It's not the making the sprites that's hard, it's the actually getting myself to make them in the first place. I guess you have to wait until you get a spriter that says yes, try your own hand at the graphics, or use the default or free to use sprites. Though me, being the visual person I am would slit my wrist at style variance which is why I can't really love the game, or I would want to do all the sprites just for consistency.
This is a problem in my Web Design II class as we are revamping the school's website pages and I want to do them all so they are consistent. (And I'm better than most people in my class, the teacher asks me for help!... I feel like my ego is huge when I talk to you for some reason.)

    :< But I want a sprite sheet~!
*pat pat* Well, I guess work on the programming part of the game and leave the graphics for later?

I am. But I never really wanted to commit to any game.
HoF asked me if I could do a sprite, I said wait until summer, we had long interesting talks and I wanted to do sprites because I thought he was a good person and put effort into his game.
So it wasn't really I wanted to commit to a game but I felt happy doing requests for a friend to the point I said I would be on the team.
And as it turned out I was voted to Head Spriter...
But in my actual nature, I am quite lazy and don't care much about the organization or end result of something unless it has the label of "mine" on it, or I am intimately familiar with the people or creative process.

I actually haven't seen the OW sprites yet.
    Racist. :p
Personally, I don't want to commit and would rather do my own sprites I like, but I'm not the average spriter.
Don't know much about the population of spriters, but I know ever since ROM Hacking people spilled in and no recolors/fusions I've seen a large amount of tileset makers and a bunch of scratch fakemon.
I don't understand the art in the pixel art, really, it's only a game maker's recruiting ground it seems most of the time.
xD? I thought they looked nice, seeing as I used Jasmine VS for May, and the trainer of her for the shy girlie.
    Windmill! Yeah...

The HGSS sprites are just so nice I don't want to change much on them...
