Ken... :( His back story really hurt me. I'm glad Ken realized what he was doing to Wormmon & the Digimon he was controlling was wrong. Also WORMMON DYING. I LITERALLY WANTED TO CRY.

Digimon Adventure 2 is far better than I expected it'd be. I didn't expect to enjoy it in the way I have.

Also hot take but the Digimon anime is much better than the Pokémon anime. I feel bad for saying that a bit.

T_T There's no excuse for this baiting... but on the bright side, it's literally IMPOSSIBLE to find a hard copy of twewy in North America since they barely printed any so they'd better not turn around and say it didn't sell enough if it literally sold out expectations. >:(

Ken is interesting, I don't remember his entire backstory atm, so it feels good to be rewatching Adventure 02!

...Yeah, Davis is your typical mc. His Digimon Veemon is super overpowered also. I prefer Cody & Yolei. Did you know Cody's Japanese name is Iori, btw? I think that's really neat.

DIGIMON ADVENTURE TWO OmG can i just say...that the Digimon Emperor is a really good villain? I don't know or remember why Ken became such a menace, but. I like how we have a human villain this time.

HOWEVER,
I'm not really a big Davis fan, tho. :( He's kinda... generic main character type of person. <_< Do you like Davis?

On the topic of bad 90s dubs, I was wondering if you've watched Zoids.
I'm thinking of watching that dub soon.

tbh they're gay, nothing can change my mind! Rewatching Digimon is fun.

And every time they port it, they say "if this sells well, maybe we'll finally make the sequel we're teasing!" and then they never do anything.

I hope this one sells well but... it's not that great of a port. (The best parts of it are basically straight ports from the iOS/Android version and the added Switch controls are... bad.) So I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

But oh well, it's been so much fun to revisit it, at least. ;w;

Saban was terrifying. it's like they went onto the streets and pulled random people to do their voice acting work.

I had a really huge culture shock when I learned Joe was Joe's actual name and not an Americanization, lmfao.

The hugest annoyance, though, is how they Americanized all the food, like Cheeseburgers, really? And hating on broccoli? That's so terrifyingly American, especially since they claim the setting is Japan at least once by ep 26.
