So his name basically means "Flower Wolf" 8Db Yuri's also a Russian variant of "George" (which apparently means "farmer" or "earthworker"), but Flower Wolf sounds sooo much better!

Yuri being a non-standard protag. is another thing I really like about him. I don't have anything against typical ones--heck, I like plenty (Flynn included)--but having a protag. who doesn't fit the stereotypical archetypes is refreshing. I also think it's cool how he's ambidextrous; there don't seem to be any ambidextrous characters in Tales other than Lloyd.

I remember first seeing Yuri's name and thought how his name sounded really similar to Yuri Lowenthal's, fff. Other than that, I didn't give him too much thought since I didn't know much about his character other than what I read. Then I played Project X Zone and started liking him and Flynn and Estelle XD Would totally use his first name as a username (like I did on AFD), except people would probably think I'm referring to girl x girl relationships, ahaha. (However, I could get away with using his last name. It's a pretty cool one, too, given that it means "wolf" in one language.)

I might end up doing that with Vesperia, given how it's only out in the US on the XBox 360 (which I don't think I'll be getting at all). I thought I heard about the PS3 version being localized too, but I haven't seen anything about that happening so chances are watching cutscenes/skits/boss fights are my best bet ;;

Oh, that's cool XD I'd watch LPs or skits/cutscenes/boss fights, but I find doing so odd because I'd rather be playing the game myself. (Plus, it might make me want the game even more, orz)
