It's because engineering is (relatively) easy to get into and your parents and family won't think you've failed at life if you do become an engineer. XD

He's smart enough to get somewhere in life in terms of a good job, but socially? Not a chance. I'm seriously contemplating going up to him and telling him everything he needs to change about himself but he'll just take offence to that or make up some stupid excuse, like the fact that he's an only child or something. The only child thing isn't even an excuse - I know lots of only children who turned out right.

I just decided to do medicine, so he chose it before me. It was a random career choice though. Before that, he wanted to do architecture, and before that engineering. And he was so sure of himself each time. Next thing you know, he's gonna tell me he wants to go to clown school.

okay I thought about it again I don't see a life ahead of him either XDDDDDDDDD

My friends were telling me yesterday about how he keeps hitting on them. He was telling one of them how he wanted to find a girl 'outside his culture' and how he wanted to 'marry a girl who is his best friend' and how he wanted a 'good Arab girl'. The girl he was talking to was Arab, so it was awkward, to say the least. I cannot stand him. XD

He isn't even that bad when he's around me (most of the time, but he still manages to piss me off even when he's not trying too hard to impress anyone), but when he's around other people, he tries to act edgy and smooth, or does ridiculously stupid things and ends up embarrassing himself. I'm not even joking, most of the girls in our year level are scared of him. Some of the guys too.

I told one of my friends that he wanted to do medicine as well and she looked at me horrified and told me she would change her plans for the future if he ended up at the same university as her. XDDDDDDDDDD
