Yeah. In all honesty, SP stands a decent chance of getting his out first. He is, as he says, much further along. However, I don't know where on earth this 'two months' comes from. I'm aiming to do something like a gym a day, and that's without help, which I should have starting later tonight. If we both work our asses off, I could see getting this out in like a week and a half? Either way, I can like 90% guarantee it'll be out within a month of his at the very, very latest.

I know how fast I'm going, but I've never played the game before, so I can't really judge how MUCH work is left, if that makes sense?

Right now, I don't want them done. From what Sarcastic Prince has posted in the thread, and from my experience, I know that some of the glitches in his copy of the hack are due to his errors. Wesley's already done a LOT to this rom, and it's none too stable. Right now I'm trying to change as little as possible, so that it remains glitch-free. If you'd like to change them in my version after it's done, you're more than welcome to, but for now, I'm trying to keep my changes simple so that I KNOW what's causing any errors that appear.

One glitch SP has posted about is a bunch of trainers just giving a black screen, and taking literally minutes to load. That will not be present in mine, and I do not know how he plans to fix it. I imagine it'll be present in his 'bug-free' translation. :P

Looking at my version, that doesn't appear to be the case. Something might be screwy with Samurott, but not Emboar. Thanks anyway, though.

As I just posted in the thread, he's the one trying to complete with me. All I'm doing is respecting Wesley's wishes, because he is obviously not. I'll be done when I'm done, which is a lot faster than he thinks I'll be done. :P

Of course! I'm fixing one or two scripts, translating the Japanese Unova pokemon names, and minorly changing a small amount of trainer names, while keeping them as close to their original names as I can. Aside from that, it is a pure translation.

Yep. So the original idea of adding Ash's girls is going to be moved to my hack instead. Well, as for the other edits, I don't plan on removing them unless a whole flock of people complain about it like the Ash issue.
