  • Wait wait wait. Based on the thread popularity, I was under the impression only 2-5 people were fans. This is surprising news that more people know of it
Yeah but... I didn't think anyone actually played them I'm surprised you remember O_o
I thought that was common knowledge lulz.

My first thread sorta had problems like hers. For my games, people mostly complained about the dialog; specifically my choice of Vietnamese Crystal text for battles. Not the maps, not the sometimes hard to follow plot points, but BATTLE TEXT. Which was a JOKE. Some people, man, some people.
Actually, palettes 6-15 change from map to map (although, I don't know how to use 13-15 as I've only seen them in HackMew's Animation Editor and not in A-Map. It's really too bad, I could use them) in Emerald, 6-15 in Ruby, and only 7-15 in FireRed.

I've been patient, too, by the way. I've been working on this game since October, slowly but surely. I know the styles aren't the same but that's the only place with B/W tiles. I couldn't find any other tree that presents the "forest" idea as well, either. AND, those trees are never seen next to any other type, so you kind of forget when playing, I think.
Hey there, I see you can make OW's, they look nice.
I would love for you to make an OW for the hero in my hack?
    Thanks for your time :)
In regards to your post (and I should add this to the thread):

The Angelos region is made up of three biomes: forest, mountain, and beach.
In addition, I included social classes. A few places are low class, many are middle, and a few are high class.

I tried to represent the different biomes/social classes with use of different tiles. For example, some places have nice, clean sidewalks and well-kept roads,
while others have dirtier roads or cheaper sidewalks.

...Does that make sense? I know it's cramped, but I wanted to add all that stuff to make each section feel unique, you know?
