Lol, maybe the school board isn't as stupid as we thought. They're still stupid though, for making us read this book in the first place. Even if you don't have enough copies of October Sky (whatever the reason may be) why, WHY, did they have to pick A Tale of Two Cities? I'd like to see them try to get through this book...

Oh yeah, can I add that in 5th grade I had Mrs. Anderson (No I don't know if she's related to Mr. Anderson) and she could rival Mrs. McBride in anger management issues. Only Mrs. Anderson would throw things. What does karma have against us, really? I guess the only good thing that came out of this is that we don't have to do those ridiculous questions this year. Remember last year with Where the Red Fern Grows? Oh God, 100 questions written in complete sentences...0.o I don't think my hand ever recovered from that.

These people, who, at will, can have animal like attributes, E.G. - Wings.

Seriously. Around the World in 80 Days was 180-200 pages long, and the storyline wasn't even that bad. Now? 400 pages, tiny font, and a very crappy storyline, from what I can tell from the first 2 chapters. This should be fun!(Sarcasm) Yeah, October Sky would have been so much better, it sucks that 'they didn't have enough copies'. Why, then, do you not have enough copies? You're a freaking school board, and seeing as this has never been a problem for any of the years before this...>(

Aaah no. I really doubt this movie will help us understand the book more. It'll probably just confuse us more.

I don't think the movie will be that much better, actually. I haven't seen it yet, but since movies tend to screw up the original books more -coughHarryPottercough- and the original book, in this case, sucked...I'm not looking forward to it.

I thought it was talking about...well I'm not sure.^^; This whole book is so confusing...I may just take my mom's advice for once and watch the movie. I don't think I can get through the book, in all honesty. Did you get questions? Because we didn't. Which is weird, seeing as that's been part of our summer homework for the past couple of years.

I'm thinking of reading "Scarlet Letter", but only because all the other books sound like crap. Oh yeah, I read a little bit more of the required one and...I still have no idea what they're saying. WTF?

Seriously. I mean, they made the theme of the manga Naruto becoming "the next Hokage" at the beginning, then they change it in Shippuden to "the sixth Hokage". It totally ruined his little mantra.
