That works too, but I'd still like if you would at least put some mention in the OP that the sprites there aren't really meant to be edited.

Hey, we really need to update the OP. Members don't get to vote anymore, and there's still not a link to the hub on the main page. People are editing sprites that we've closed editing on because they don't know that we aren't supposed to be editing them.

Also, add Otakun to the credits for Dartrix's front, as he originally resized it. (Tbh I'd prefer it to be a bit bigger as it looks almost as small as Rowlet now but I guess it's okay...)

I meant, like, link to the hub in the main post and be like "these are sprites that are currently slated for editing. The ones that are not on this post are finished and do not need to be edited." Something like that.

Yeah I can do that. Having it in the OP and making it very obvious that editors should edit those sprites would be super useful.

Yes, thanks, and yes. Did you add it to the OP? (The only reason I didn't add it is bc I view 100 posts per page so the hub is still on the same page as that post and I forget that not everyone does that :v)

Okay! It's all done. All credits have been assigned and issues have been updated. If you didn't have a sprite, I either added one or just left it completely blank. Anyway, here's my post.

So right now I'm transferring credits from my sheet to the New Years Update sheet. A few things.

One: if a sprite has "finished - pulling from the hub" in the Notes section, that means it's done and no one else can touch it. I know you might have some protests to this but some of the sprites are really good and don't need edited, so I'm going to ask that edits of the sprites that you're posting that I have pulled from the hub get rejected.

Second: After I transfer credits, I'm going to write a post regarding crediting that I'd like you to include in the update (I'd post it myself but I probably won't be on). It'll contain information regarding how I credited everything. Please don't post the update until you have this post, because I know there will be a lot of questions about crediting.

Yeah, their sprites were great. I wish they weren't busy, especially HeXeR. Nearly every sprite that I'm absolutely in love with was made by him.

Alright, it's 3 am. I worked past when I said I would stop :p I have almost everything done. Go over it and look for the ones where I have stuff in parenthesis because I couldn't properly credit some of them because the posters didn't give the right info/weren't clear about the sprite's origin.

Okay, definitely. I'm totally cool with reducing the size of it. I'll go through and clean it out tomorrow. By the way, on page 5 of 9.

Also, totally ask HeXeR to come back and contribute. His sprites are really, really good.

Those look fine, for now. I'll go through later and mark the ones that look finished as Do Not Edits so that we can keep their quality. I'll do as many credits as I can in the next hour or so and then wake up tomorrow and finish it off as quickly as possible. I'll be spending time with my parents tomorrow so I'll try to work fast.

Also, please make a very clear notice in your update post that we only have express permission from fishbowlsoul90 and Jaeger to use their sprites with credit. We still technically don't have permission from leparagon (working on it). Also note that regardless, crediting the source is required. I'd recommend instituting a "no acceptance without credit" rule but it's up to you.

I am. I didn't check Dewpider but Zygarde should be way under. There really weren't that many colors on it.

Also, Z did Toxapex's backsprite. He said the arms were kind of small but honestly it still looks really good.

Here's the resized Dewpider. I did 90% because if I go any smaller we'll lose the details.



Here's my attempt at Shiny 10%. Whoever did this palette only used like 3 colors and white and black so this was kind of difficult. I redid a little of the shading but it still needs work.

I do have a Smogon account, but I don't think we need to ask as long as we credit them. Their sprites are free use iirc. Might want to look at the thread but that's what I remember. And yeah, I can do them now, give me a bit and I'll have them.

I'll try to do some kind of hack job on it :v By the way, there's probably some better Magearna sprites on DeviantArt. Speaking of that, I spoke to fishbowlsoul90 and he gave us full permission to use whatever of his sprites that we need, giving us two dedicated sources. I'm gonna resize his Dewpider front, it's better than the one we have now, so go ahead and drop the previous front. Keep the back.

Where do you usually get shiny palettes from? I can attempt to recolor them.

I'll try to stay with the thread as much as I can. Obviously once I'm off winter break, I'm going to be significantly busier, but I'll try to pop in and help as much as possible.

Don't stress any sprites you can't fix. Chaos did shiny palettes only after the sprites themselves were looking great, so, yeah.
