Probably the only problem was you evolved it a little to soon. Lv.49 Growlithe learns Flare Blitz, and it can't be learned by Arcanine, but I bet I can get around it ^^

I'm only insulted because you act like you know it all yet you have no idea; for instance you say I am pathetic for using a legend, and then you ask who does that??? Yet look at the lists posted across forums, look at lots of youtube videos, you will see the likes of Zapdos, Azelf and Heatran everywhere, they are very common because they aren't uber.

And to answer your question specifically, most people use legendaries. So as long as they aren't uber nobody cares.

Zapdos is a mediocre legendary at best, one hit of a rock or ice move knocks him out. Go learn what competitive battling actually is before you talk about who and what is and isn't crap.
