It can take anywhere from a few hours if the mods are online, to a few days, and on rare occasions it might take about a week. Though, it shouldn't be that long. That area keeps them busy, plus they also have busy lives, and a lot of threads to approve / check over. If it's been a long amount of time then your best bet would be to PM them and ask if it was denied.
