It seems to me that it is in character for Giovanni to carry out experiments on humans as well as on Pokemon. A super crossover fanfiction known as Starting Anew I'm working on involves him doing such a thing. I just wonder if that's in keeping with his anime (namely his Kanto league) canon...

Kanto Question I am currently using a character of the day, Anthony, who appeared in the Punchy Pokemon episode. Just curious if anyone remembered what the name of the Kanto town he resided in was. If it was never canonically established I may make up a town.

I definitely like Brock. He's a veritable font of knowledge and usually is fairly level headed unless it pertains to women.

I would say for at least the first few seasons of the anime perhaps because the government of the Pokemon world is weak or Team Rocket might have bought off some political figures such as they exist in the Pokemon world.

I imagined other occupations other than Pokemon related ones existed in the world of Pokemon but was curious as to how a system of education looked. It did look like there's a good bit of career flexibility to be had and that some trainers can spend decades at the journey towards being a master...

I wonder what the education system of the Pokemon World is like? Given that trainers typically start their journey at ten years old I would assume at least a baseline of education is completed by then. Or perhaps there are ways for trainers to continue their schooling should they desire it...

I would assume that the government is parliamentary democracy modeled after the Japanese government. And interestingly enough there has to have at least at some point been some sort of military or paramilitary organization around given the fact that LT Surge's character is around.

The first episode I ever watched was Primeape Goes Bananas when it first came out. That's how Mankey and Primeape became my favorite Pokemon.

Glad to see I'm not that old fashioned given that I remember and enjoy the Indigo League. I actually have all three boxed sets and am doing an extensive bit of research for my future fanfic. I'm likely to post my story on fanfiction.net once I've written it.
