My mom did it because I asked her. She wouldn't have done anything otherwise. Money, cards... None of that. Everyone else was getting something special, so I felt really bad when I had to ask for the same treatment :( graduating is a big deal IMO even if it's secondary; how many kids actually complete secondary nowadays? There's such a high drop-out rate... I had left HS on one occasion, too, so going back and getting a high average is even rarer. She should've been more thrilled lol

I dunno. Not worth the hundreds of dollars that SHOULD go towards their tuition and not a one-time wear dress or suit.
