Actually i think I'm being annoying with my nagging. I'll stop. I'll say this and not talk about gintama again - watch it from ep 3. Skip 1&2 as they're non canon and worst episodes of the series. Next episodes you may like or might not but somehow bear with it as it becomes amazing. Don't drop it. Make your way through the episodes at your own pace. Take years, whatever. But please experience the amazingness that is gintama. It doesn't have all its seasons in the top 10 at MAL for nothing.

Hey quantity doesn't matter. Quality does. If you have a ♥♥♥♥ton of fun while watching a 400 episode series or you watch 20 series you didn't especially like instead then former is so much more worth it imo. Also, there can be a case where the seemily super long anime is soooooo good you'll forget how awesome every other series you've seen was and just go crazy for it.

Well, it's not a total loss. I do enjoy OP after all, but I'd like to expand beyond it too. Despite the length, it actually got me into anime in a lot of different ways. For the first time in my life, I actually recommended an anime to someone else haha.
