Uhh, Isn;t that like a fanfare? Well you would do Fanfare 0x13E, i believe, taken from what i know of a scripting tutorial, then do boxet 4 *which is a text box that doesn't close* You do boxset 4 only combined with waitfanfare (which waits for the fanfare 0x13E to close before your able to press A on textbox 4)

Don't fully understand? Here is the script you would do, with guidelines telling u wat they do/mean, written by meh ;)
fanfare 0x13E
message $POINTER (whatever) <----this is the pointer leading to the message that says \v\h01 [Player] recieved a _____ (charmander, in your case)
boxset 4<----this is a text box that doesnt close *use only when combined with waitfanfar*
waitfanfare<------waits for fanfare to end before boxset4 dissapears

One more thing, this might not work with XSE, bcuz this is the PoketScript version, as far as I know. Try it out, if it doesn't work try doing something similar that does work. :)

hey um i'm hacking fire red and i'm attatching smth to it and everytime i try to upload it says it failed...

yep i dont see why they do that bc some good hacks are out there but aren't noticed and ppl dont post in them... then noticing them is against the rules..

since i have never acually used a give pokemon script with all the extras(nickname, yes/no ect.) this is as much as i can teach you, if you need anymore help with give poke scripts you will need to go check out some tuts.

what thread did i do that to? idk i did that. i knew the rules from b4 from when i had an acct on here like 2 years ago and was a regular user but this has changed a bit. so if u post on a thread that nobody has posted on for a month it's against the rules? that's kinda stupid
