I was mad the first sucker didn't work I was like Ughhh... and naturally after that I was just waiting for an outrage for it to die. You know I know this sounds messed up, but I don't completely like all of the OU's out there...I don't want to use a poke because its super strong and tough, I'd rather have a few that I can use niche-wise to make a team come together...and ones where I can stand the sight of them. So many OU's are ugly and overplayed...I like my cute little pokemon...but that attitude is probably hurting me in the end because cute never wins....:( Ohhhhhh and thanks on the Metagross! I thought up the name T-1000 cos he kinda reminds me of the T-1000 from Terminator 2, with him being all silver and stuff.

I dunno, I didn't overly look into it. Its in the battle forum and the topic is pretty close to the top. Greene signed up. I'm going to see what he says about how involving he thinks it is, because I don't want people to get pissed with me if I sign up and can't battle all the time because of school. I could battle like a couple times a week or so but not much more than that. But, it sounds like major fun and I could prolly get some much needed experience for it if I signed up for it.

I'm still excited about the battle, lol. You know, I was considering joining that seasons tourney, but I don't know how involved you'd have to be to be in one. I've never really done it before, but it sounds cool.

With those IV's a good Dusknoir set would be 248HP/170Sp.D/92D. He has 205 Attack even with 0 IV's in it, and it's not like he is out to do damage anyway. With Shadow Sneak, Pain Split, Protect, and Will-O-Wisp, he can be an ultimate pain.

The HP one sucks alright, but honestly, I've seen people run Dusknoir's with no HP investment and they do fine. I'll head back in Wi-Fi now, and sure I'd love to IV test Tyrogue, could make a good Hitmonlee.

Oh crap, I totally forgot man. I can do it still if you want to give it back. Those IV's will work fine for a Dusknoir; even a Dusknoir with 0 IV's in each defense can take hits like a beast.

BTW, any idea on the IV's of the Tyrogue???

I have no idea, I never got a chance to do an IV battle, but after I give it to you I can do one with you so you can check it yourself. And yea I can trade now. Is your FC going to be Platinum or Pearl???

And yes, Pokémon games have been a huge part of my gaming life (being a handheld gamer only) since I got my first ever GameBoy, so I have a lot of affection for all of them. ^.^ Plus I really don't see the point of comparing the First Generation games with the Third and Fourth, considering the massive technology gap, but I suppose people always need to do comparisons of some sort. We wouldn't be human if we didn't, heh.

Well, yeah but that's still whining about abilities and possibilites everyone can have and that are all part of the game as well as part of Pokemon battles. If you've played it long enough against NPC's and in the Colosseum battles etc, they don't make any exceptions and you get used to having **** luck sometimes, sometimes it favors you. ^^ It's supposed to be unexpected and a little luck based. I simply don't agree with taking things out just because they're annoying, find a way to counter them instead. Example, don't let a Pokemon use Double team too many times, taunt it? Hit it with moves that can never miss, example Swift and Areal Ace. :P Against Garchomp, use a high defense pokemon that can take the blow then go for a 1hit. Use Protect/detect.. Switch out if you're sand attacked too many times etc.. =]

Hehe well, with a Wobbuffet, I simply don't hit it untill I have to. :P And I prefer playing double battles. As long as you ignore it, it can't do squat..! And I can think of a lot of good Pokemon that are very fast and all hit like bloody trucks. :P Imo, it's not quite fair or right to ban Pokemon and held items from battles, unless it's banning legendaries obviously which you naturally don't really like to fight.. But everything else, it's in the game and meant to be used.. people should just deal with it and learn to handle it instead of complaining and banning it.
