...I'm not really sure about exactly what you're saying, but no matter how little you intended on editing, you can't use someone else's hack as a base for your own project. So please just don't do it, it's not allowed, even if you're just editing tiles.

Following up on the two VMs below, I have looked at the hack you link to in your signature and usertitle, and it is clear that you've taken LiquidCrystal- a hack belonging to LinkandZelda and Zeikku- and have made some minor edits to it (pretty much just tile changes as far as I can see) and are claiming it as yours. Firstly, you are not supposed to link to GBA files on this site- it's just not allowed. Secondly, taking someone elses hack and making edits without permission (and I highly doubt you asked permission- if you have, I ask you to provide proof, please) is considered stealing, and that is an infractable offence here. Please remove the links from your signature and usertitle and stop claiming credit for a hack that is not yours.

Try reading the rules and maybe you won't get banned.
