I can do basic scripting such as talking scripts, gym battles, and trainers. I also can be of use for inserting new pokemon unless you can do that yourself. I map as well but I see that someone else has taken that role already.

In my opinion we should do either Firered or Ruby because most tools that would be useful for us cover only those versions. If you like detailed and bright tilesets go for firered, if you like natural looking tiles that are a little duller go for Ruby

What bothers me about Firered is that you get bags for TMs and berries. It seems kinda pointless to do that considering in RSE those things were never implemented and the games were just as good. And there's the annoyance of opening the bags just to use the items where RSE put them in categories...
