I gave your message some serious thought...I feel like if that person did care at all, yeah she would have stood up for me instead of immediately silencing me.

I sent her that thought in one final message. Even if it's not well received, would rather have that than a friend who continues to lie about how much they cared. Which I was constantly reminded about.

In the end, all that came out of that friendship was a feeling of being hurt and confused, especially in the last few days. I'm glad to be feeling some closure though.
