  • Why, yes it is :)
So, I take you probably like Buizel, but why the waveguide?
Sorry if it seems awkward, I just got home from school and I'm four fifths of the way to sleeping.
Yes, it was. I never had the opportunity to play it, remember? That's partially why I got this game, so I could. However, I want to finish story mode before I start classic mode. There's supposed to be this feature where you can carry over certain things from one playthrough into the next (according to the manual, anyways).
Untold is 1.) a prelude to the first Etrian Odyssey and 2.) the remake of the first Etrian Odyssey. I never play the original and all the games have completely different stories anyways. Supposedly, EO Untold is about unlocking the history behind a cataclysm that lead to the human race nearly going extinct and then later re-establishing itself as a medieval society in the lands near and around the holy tree Yggdrasil (I looked that much up online, though, so don't quote me on it. I just wanted to get a feel for the games' timescales).
Yes. I was actually trying to beat EO4 before I started it, but I've been lazy and kind of got distracted by Pokémon. I'll eventually beat it, EOU, and Pokémon Y. I'm just shuffling between them atm.
Then I should start working on my dex in X. I've been kind of laying off Pokémon the past day or so, so that I could concentrate on Etrian Odyssey Untold. Admittedly, I only just started it last night, even though I've had it for a month. The demo was flashy, but the full game is beautiful, especially the intro.
This is new to Kalos? CRAP! How the (bleep) did I not know this? I wait forever whenever I try and breed Pokémon that just barely fit into the same egg group.
Oval Charm? Don't you mean Shiny Charm or Lucky Egg? I know you can get Lucky Egg during the storyline, though I lucked out and got a second one from a Hariyama I got in Wonder Trade. Shiny Charm actually requires you to complete the full dex, I thought.
FEEBAS was my worst nightmare in RSE. I could never catch it no matter how often I fished. I'm not even worried about it in my replay of Ruby atm.

I get lazy and just raise a bunch of Pokémon for competitive battling and that's it... I have a thing against just raising them for the dex these days, but I've been sorely rethinking that policy.
I usually get lazy, but I ALMOST completed the regional Dex in Pokémon Black and Pokémon Black 2. The only one I'm missing in Black is Meloetta and that's because I missed the GameStop giveaway. Since I plan to restart it anyways, I'm not to concerned about completing. However, I do plan to get back to Black 2 someday and complete the National Dex. I don't feel bad for using an AR device to hack the fourth gen games, but I haven't really had the guts to use it since Platinum since I don't want to screw up the newer ones. I even found a hack that lets you get any pre-Gen V Pokémon at Level 20 from the Rustboro Museum. It was fun for getting extra legendaries when I didn't want to export them to my fifth gen games right away, and for getting my hands on a Feebas when it was virtually impossible to catch one via normal gameplay.
Oh, you think that's bad? I got a Feebas for a Feebas the other day on Wonder Trade. :P

Well, I have a bunch of legendaries I've collected since Gen III. Admittedly, I did use my Action Replay to hack my Diamond game and get a bunch of doubles for Gen IV and V, but I know they won't transfer over and I wouldn't give them away anyways since I only hacked them to fill my Pokedex (there were a lot of special event legendaries I missed out on in Gen IV). The extras in question are ALL legit. I have everything that was readily available in-game from RSE to BW2, and I'm actually replaying some of my games to get more of them (my RSE games still work perfectly, save for the internal battery being dead and daily events no longer occurring).
Mmm, sorry if I seemed pushy about doing trades last night. I really just wanted to exploit the fact that I got a bunch of pre-gen VI Pokémon before Pokémon Bank got released in the US. Since it's still not out, I can't exploit the app itself by importing Pokémon I bred myself in Gen V and collected since Gen III. If you ever need spare legendaries, let me know. I have tons of legit ones I'm planning on importing from my Pokémon Black 2 game the moment I download Bank/Transporter.
Yep. Again, I got the Pokerus via Wonder Trade. A Flabebe had it. I almost release it until I checked and saw it had Pokerus.
Try GTS. You may luck out. I just happened to get one via Wonder Trade. If I had others with Imposter, I'd give you one. But, I just have regulars.
Alright, thanks for the heads-up. I hadn't gotten my hands on a Joltik yet, so thanks for that and for replacing my Prism Scale like I asked.

Regular Ditto never passes on hidden abilities. I've tried it hundreds of times and it never worked. Aside from that, I also have the X/Y guidebook and it says that too. However, Imposter Ditto has the same odds as the opposite gender Pokémon you're breeding with, so long as that Pokémon has the hidden ability too (otherwise, it won't work). IIRC, the odds for a male passing on the hidden ability to the same species female in X/Y is like 20%, while females keep the 60% chance they had in Black/White. I think Imposter Ditto had the same odds as a DW female of passing on the ability in Black/White too, so long as the male it was breeding with had the hidden ability. I didn't get an Imposter Ditto until a month ago, so I can't say that last part for sure.
Imposter Ditto copycats a female or male with a Hidden Ability, increasing the likelihood of getting a baby with the hidden ability. I've done it enough to know for a fact that it works. If you don't believe me, I'll trade you one of the Beldum and you can see for yourself. It isn't a sure fire thing, but it's nice to have a way to carryover abilities like that.
Well, I just used one yesterday to evolve a Feebas I bred with the help of someone else. I then later gave that person a Feebas with a Prism Scale, and he gave me one in return for it. If you have an extra one that you can trade back to me, I'll gladly trade you a Feebas holding the one I so it'll evolve into Milotic right away. You don't mind what nature it has, do you? I have a Bold one and Timid one I can trade.

With the Beldum, I have two with Light Metal Ability and one with Clear Body that I just bred last night. The Light Metal ones have Hasty and Careful natures, while the Clear Body one has Bashful nature. I know you said you're not picky with Pokémon you get in trade, but I've been trying to up my ante since I happened to have gotten several Pokémon via Wonder Trade with their hidden abilities (including an Imposter Ditto, which has become invaluable when passing along said abilities from other Pokémon via breeding. It's not always a sure thing, but I know that it does work).
Can you trade now or later? I'm good whenever. You want a Feebas and Light Metal Beldum too? I've been breeding like crazy today and polluting Wonder Trade with them. I just happened to get a Feebas with Hypnosis and Mirror Coat. I just don't have extra Prism Scales.
Yeah, well, it was originally just multiplayer. Mmm, I haven't gotten a game over in the little bit I played, but I have found it hard to actually do a bunch of stuff quickly. I presume that the actual multiplayer part was meant for quick cooperative gameplay, since I can't see it actually being too competitive.

BTW, I'm finally getting around to breeding starters. If you want the Unova set, let me know since I'm doing them now. I would've had them ready sooner, but I've trying to level up and evolve Pokémon first before breeding them...
Well, if you download the game, it will give you that option right away. Multiplayer is displayed at the top of the touch screen while single player is on the bottom. I've only beaten the first level, but it seems like a fun game. Actually, I'd go so far as to call it hard because you have to coordinate your attacks.
Truth be told: I own the original GBA game, which included A Link to the Past and Four Swords. However, I could never play Four Swords part of it because it actually required you to be linked with other players via the GBA link cable. This version doesn't require that. You can control two characters at once if you choose single player mode, which is good for my means since I usually only use video games' multiplayer features online (and even then, it's mostly just for Pokémon and, to a lesser extent, AC-New Leaf).
