Probably a silly question, but I'm new to the Masuda Method. I have a Japanese Ditto, if I wanted to try for a shiny Charmander would it have to be Japanese/foreign language as well?

I usually am on Pearl the most because I've had it so long it's become the place where I collect and store all the pokémon from other games that are special or I want to keep.. I'm usually in Solaceon because of the daycare/hatching eggs or up at Route 229 leveling.

At the moment I'm trying to breed a shiny Feebas. If I succeed it would be the first time.. seeing as the chances are about 1 in 2000 of actually breeding a shiny (using the Masuda Method)... I would just be happy to get a shiny! I can't even imagine finally getting a shiny and being...

I'm pretty stoked because I just found a shiny geodude completely randomly while leveling my pokémon on route 207. I was so shocked because I thought at first it was a glitch on my computer screen, but also it's kinda hilarious because I've been trying to get a shiny by using the Masuda Method...
