It's supposed to be in the Great Marsh, if you mean D/P/P. I hate those areas. It seems like an impossible task to catch a rare Pokémon there; give me a Quick Ball and False Swipe and I'll wear it down for another ball if need be.

I'm still looking up Carnivine, but still not liking the prospect. I can't get it until I get to the Viridian Forest, though it appears in the Ilex Forest as well with Sinnoh Sound after the E4. No worries, I'll get one for ya, it just might take some time. :)

Unfortunately, Latios is still some ways away; it seems I have to visit Copycat and get a doll first, then upon leaving the city, the roaming Latios is triggered. I'm only 4/8 on Gyms, and obviously, I have to finish the Pokémon League to continue exploring Kanto, sooo...

I'm going to have to rely on the Action Replay someday to grant myself an Enigma Stone in order to catch Latias at Pewter City. The 3DS version should arrive. Someday. That will let me unlock the Lock Capsule item as well, getting me TM95, Snarl.

She's not doing Deoxys today, I think. I already asked about grabbing one of them. LMAO I think she has an Action Replay now, however, so I am seeing if I can get you a Mew by cloning mine.

Naahh Zoroark (Illusion pokemon you were talking about, right?) is UU. So don't worry about that. And honestly, it's difficult to calculate the IVs of a pokemon based on one stat at lv.1 without knowing the rest of the stats, what pokemon it is, and what stat you're talking about but here is an IV calculator that can help determine the IVs of an individual pokemon.

If you want a Ferrothorn suited for competitive play, Ferroseed wants a Relaxed nature [+Defense; -Speed]. A Lax nature raises Defense and lowers Special Defense so..

EDIT: Oh, and if you're going with Ferrothorn over Forretress, Jellicent still makes a great partner for the same reasons (spin blocking). That and Jellicent and Ferrothorn as a team resist every type attack except ground and flying. :]

Well, right now the raters are suggesting you pokemon that stay in the OU tier, which is the standard play. So like, Forretress and Jellicent are OU. Pokemon like Blastoise are NU (possibly RU) and cannot viably be used in OU (because there are pokemon in OU that can do Blastoise's job better). And pokemon like Garchomp are in the Uber tier and are therefore banned from standard play.

However, there are plenty of great Dragons in OU you can choose from! Like Haxorus, Dragonite, and the Lati-Twins, just to name a few. If you want a full list of the Dragon pokemon viable in OU or want good competitive sets for them, just ask! ^o^

Don't worry about it on HG/SS. I'm more interested in catchables including legendaries on there. I won't be seeking actively ones I already have on Black by that point. I'll still try to do exclusive trades however (Spinda for Ledyba for instance).

I think I can buy Moon Stones in Black City ATM. I checked again the other day and saw them still there. Might buy a few more because I think there are multiple evolutions requiring them.

I'll attach it to the SuperZorua. I'm thinking of accepting the Porygon-Z back from LegendaryCelebi, and playing an Egg game offering three swarm Eggs exclusive to Black with the option to pick one (not knowing what each is). Kind of throw a neat element of fun and surprise in, and at the same time, what hatches is her own trainer ID and not mine. ;)

This means we may only have two steps:

1. Zorua for Porygon (Upgrade, evolves)
2. Porygon2 (DD, evolves) for something.

What is "something" going to be? Did we confirm one? If you have Pikachu, I'd love that one (or Raichu...I'll breed). :D
