Oh thats the latest game :) i tried emulating it too but it lags like hell:(
Anyways how is the game so far? Have you had the chance to play it?

oh i know those duel puzzles boggle the mind sometimes.

btw i just watched bonds beyond time movie and it was awesome though it had obvious plotholes in it. still pure awesomeness :D

yes you can but they are kinda underpowered in the 5ds game since nearly every duelist has lots of annoying trap cards that hinder your strategy. so have you decided which one are you gonna play?

oh if you trust your pc that much i would recommend desmume as an emulator since it has the widest compatibility of games but sacrifices speed for it but with the pc you got that souldnt be a problem. i know because it isnt for me ;)
i'd recommend 5ds because of having more cards having turbo duels and moving freely. It covers the events of 1st season but has an extremely difficult part where you have to beat 4 copies of you nonstop with your life points staying the same between duels. also it has the world championship option.
gx is great too and spirit caller covers events up to beginning of the 2nd season and has cards up to destiny heroes. you cant move as freely as you could in 5ds and it has some time event which forces you to go back to dorm when it gets too late (dont worry it doesnt use real time) also duels are easier in gx imo and gx has shadow duels too. all in all i think 5ds is better but gx is definitely worth giving a shot ;)

have you played any of them :) the games are pretty good really i'd definitely recommend those. you can use emulators if you wouldnt like to spend money on them though i guess they lag a bit

hey finally found my gx game and remembered i have an e-hero deck. im nearly unbeatable in there ^^ in 5ds i have a lightsworn deck and its pretty good too. have you tried playing them?

I just hope you can find some in your stores, assuming you're not ordering them online. That's an older set now, so it's gonna be more difficult to find.

Building a deck, I wouldn't be able to tell you, but as far as collecting, the newest set is Plasma Freeze. :) Usually, the best way to start collecting a set is to get a booster box, however they're a bit expensive. Boxes for newer sets tend to run $90-$100 on trollandtoad, a trading card site. Check that out if you wanna know more about some prices.

There are also some smaller sets you can collect, like Dragon Vault. It's the only mini-set I can think of that's easily available, so yeah. :) Try checking out your local Target or Walmart to see what they have!

In terms of starting a deck, just remember that tournament legal decks have to have cards from Black and White sets only. So stuff from Black and White Base Set, Dark Explorers, Plasma Storm, all that is game. You might consider checking out the TCG forum here for more on deck building and such. n__n

ok you've appeared on my 3ds too :) btw i got around to playing my 5ds game again and its still as good as i remember btw i guess i said wrong about 2013 edition earlier. i meant 2011 edition (over the nexus). i will play my gx game again too once i find it (thanks goodness i know where it is :D)

um doesnt really matter they're a bit different since in the game you are an additional character and eventually make friends with yusei though i would definitely recommend the show its awesome as well though not much as gx ;)

i would recommend 2013 edition mine is 2009 but still pretty good and needless to say newer editions has more cards in them and they have different stories

yeah but i didnt make a deck out of them. though i made a cloud deck and they rock XD they cant be destroyed in battle but the downside is they cant switch to def mode but they can overcome it with a card called spirit barrier

lol i missed them too actually my deck consists of only the early ones.

gx's ds game is pretty good actually but i think 5ds game was better since it was easier to navigate and you get race in motorcycles. but gx game was quite good too i made pretty good decks with that one
