I saw it that way...if you don't want room mates then you could always have requested an individual room for some reason, if you could just put that reason in game I'd appreciate that.

Ok, for your teacher, you could start out getting to know the students, or designing your class room, or just taking a look at the college. For your student, you could start out by unpacking your things in a dorm with an empty bed, or yet again, you could hang out with everybody. If you don't want to do those things, then I'll come up with more things for you to do.
