That makes sense. I'm going to run Adamant for a little while longer to see how much harder I can land my Quick Attacks, just out of curiosity. I'll go back to Jolly soon enough
I'm using Klefki on my Pokebank OU team with a lot of success. I don't know if I missed it earlier in the thread, but I didn't see anyone mention the use of dual screens. Set up the appropriate screen for the enemy Pokemon facing you, and proceed to lay down Spikes.
Here is the spread + moveset...
- Replaced Pinsir's Close Combat with Return, and not regretting it. I can leave a much bigger dent in bulky pokes such as Slowbro and Reuniclus.
- Changed Pinsir's nature to Adamant and changed EV spread to: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 SpD to better sponge hits.
- Changed Salamence's nature to Naive.
-...
For the past few days, I've started to become familiar with the common Pokemon used in Gen 6. I started with my old mono-fighting team I made over a year ago, and it's really interesting how less effective it is nowadays. After knowing what to expect, I took a stab at a proper, balanced team. As...
Hey all. I haven't posted much when I first joined up back in (August I think) 2012, and I got bored of Pokemon after I got my hands on Halo 4. Now that Gen 6 is out, I've started to get back into the competitive battling scene. My current team, as of today has a rating of around 1600 on PS...
Now that I think about it, it certainly does make sense to give the goat some more speed. I may keep T-wave, but replace Iron Head with Volt Switch and also change the nature. Before putting Medicham on this team, I was at a loss at what to do for the psychic STAB. I went with Psycho Cut over...
Tired of seeing all the stupid Politoeds and therians running around, I decided to do something a little more original. I saw fighting as a great offensive type and decided to base an entire team around it. As of now, it's had mixed results.
Cobalion (Hitmongoat) @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified...
Seeing your responses to my RMT, I came to realize that you are new to the competitive battling scene, and are therefore not quite ready to rate teams at the moment. I'm not trying to be rude, but I strongly recommend you pay a visit to sites like Smogon (I assume you've heard of it), and read...
When I played OU, Nidoking was able to OHKO all variants of Heatran with 4x super-effective-STAB-Life Orb-Sheer Force-boosted Earth Power (when they don't have Air Balloon). Heatran is of no concern to this team; the team is UU after all. Heatran is banned from the tier. As for Magneton, he...
To this point, I haven't had a problem with most steel types. Nidoking hits most super effectively with STAB Earth Power, and Flamethrower 2HKOs Bronzong. Magneton is on the team specifically to set up on and deal with steel types; namely Bisharp, Registeel, Empoleon, and Bronzong to name a few.

Sets up SR and dies. Although that's his primary job, I can switch him out as I see fit and use him as death fodder for later in the match. If...
I followed some of your advice and this is what I came up with. Any further tips for this team will be greatly appreciated.

If I find myself swapping Emolga for Scarmory (which is unlikely), I'll definitely drop Bisharp in favor of Scrafty. I like the look of that Dragon Dance set. I'll give it some thought nonetheless; I need something other than just Heatran to take fire attacks.
