Oi, it's actually important to the plot, believe it or not. Nikolai is nearly emotionless, and without Arina, the heroes wouldn't be able to defeat Dmitri in the first place. Nikolai wouldn't save Arina from getting killed by Dmitri if something wasn't going on between them, and Nikolai wouldn't kill Dmitri if he wasn't so cruel to both him and Ariana. If it were just him, he would probably get killed by Dmitri, due to not being able to stand up to him.

It sounds like a really twisted soap opera, kind of. But with demons. And yes, it's not a romance novel, so you don't have to worry about that.

Ah, and I'm stuck with gore. If I could write romance at all, I might include that in a story. At least romance that isn't incredibly creepy.

It's a psychological thing due to something Dmitri (Their dad) did to them. Not sure of the exact term of it, though.

Or hell, If I have to shoot for something, go for Albedo. In the uncensored version, he used a knife to cut off his own arm and head, and he was still alive. In the censored version, he physically rips off his arm and head.

Is that really censoring, people? I think the japanese actually had the censored one with that.

Still, that made Darkrai awesome in my eyes. I strive to make a villain like him without copying him. I think Arturo is the closest. (The guy who did that torture/mutation stuff) But he's not quite there yet.

Yeah, but he basically said that if they didn't, then the world would get destroyed, and did this under the guise of Cresselia, who is supposed to be a really good pokemon, and does what's best for the world. He was playing on their hero complex, you know, that desire all heroes have to save the world? Yeah.
